Choir sing for Lord Mayor at Gala Ball
The Kitwell Choir was once again asked to perform for the Lord Mayor at his Gala Ball in May. The event took place in the Round Room at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The choir performed many of their favourite songs along with some of their newer pieces. The choir’s two soloists also performed in front of the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and his many distinguished guests.

Hi everyone! Yeah, that concert was fun. I remember all of the very sophisticated adults dressed in very posh clothes with us singing about rage and wars and invading people. It clashes… in a good way. I also remember throwing our leaflets with the words into the air at the end. That was fun too. In fact, come to think of it I think everything we did in choir was fun, except for the time I was at rehearsal on my mum and dad’s anniversary. Yeah.. big mistake, and the register too….
